The Beach in February!

My parents came down to CA to visit! It was so nice to see them after almost 5 months. Mack loved hanging out with her Mimi and Papa.

The water was quite cold (being only February). The first time the water hit Mack's feet she was not a big fan!

After a couple times in the water Mack could not get enough. She fell over and got all wet and went running back into the water whenever she got the chance.

After lots of running, giggling and getting wet Mack finally started shivering all over and decided it was time to be done!

The beach was beautiful and we are so glad the Mimi and Papa (my parents) came to visit. We love them and cannot wait until the next time we get to see them.

Happy Love Day

Yesterday Travis made me breakfast in bed! I felt so special. He brought in an egg wrap and then Mackenzie came in with a bowl of fruit. Then, she climbed up on the bed and took turns feeding me the fruit and eating it herself. I love my little family!

Silly Girl!

I am pretty sure that Mackenzie has never seen me throw up in the toilet, but in the last two days she will lift the lid to the toilet and make a puking sound and then spit in the toilet! I think it is hilarious! I don't know how she picks this stuff up, especially since it has been a while since I have been sick any way!

Sick Days

Last week, while Travis was gone all week, Mackenzie came down with a fever. She had it for just over 2 days. The whole time she wanted to be held while she went in and out of sleeping. It was fun at first to have a baby that wants to cuddle, but after a while I would like to move. Then, I came down with a cold while she got a rash from the fever. When Travis got home he came down with the stomach flu. It has been a lot of sickness and I hope none of us gets what the other had!!

Big News!

We are having a boy!!!

Who would have thought that we would finally get a boy in the family. We are very excited to welcome this boy into our home. My official due date is July 2nd.

This year we went up to Big Bear for a couple days. (It poured rain for 5 days straight and we needed to get out and have some fun.) We had some family there that were renting a cabin for a couple weeks. It was nice to spend some time with family and to get out of the house. The only bad thing was that Mackenzie had a REALLY bad night the first night. Travis and I got about 2 hours of sleep. Basically, being pregnant I am always tired already and when you add no sleep to that, I had a massive head ache and no energy. We ended up playing games and sledding and having a really good time though!

We also got to see one of the houses Travis grew up in! He used to live in Big Bear. It seemed very similar to Montana!

We took Mackenzie to this Winter Wonderland to see Santa. It was a Wednesday night but there was a huge line. Travis took Mack into play while I waited in line. After 2 hours Mackenzie had had enough and was tired so we had to leave. We never got to see
Santa:( Maybe next year.

We have a Yogurtland right by our house and found out that it is really inexpensive and love to go there! Mackenzie is learning to feed herself with a spoon.
