Blog issues
Sorry I keep changing my blog. I have not been happy with the way things look and then I change things and it messes everything up. I hope to stick with this one for a while because I am sick of fixing things.
Another month has passed!!!
Here is a fun story that happened to me just yesterday. I was out grocery shopping with my mom. When we got to the check out line the guy checking us out asked me "so you due really soon?"
Me: "Not really I still have 2 1/2 months to go."
Guy: "Wow...BIG baby!!"
I am not sure how that was supposed to make me feel, but you can check out just how BIG the baby is getting.
I am now 29 weeks along, which is just over 7 months. I don't post these pictures because I like looking at them, but I know I like seeing other people's tummys grow so this is for your benefit.
I feel like I am getting so big so fast and I can't imagine getting bigger in the next 2 1/2 months. By the way, no one tells you that a pregnancy is actually closer to 10 months than 9! Any way, other than getting big I actually feel quite good and I don't have too much to complain about. I am one of the lucky ones. I will let you know in 2 months though!!
Camping
Travis and I went camping to this place no one has ever heard of called Jackson Lake. The campground was beautiful and the lake was beautiful. We had a fun and interesting time.
We sat on the dock and dipped our feet in the water because it was so hot. We went to this campground so we could swim but the lake had green slimy stuff in it and we were not brave enough to put more than our feet in the water!
We had such a pretty area to camp that was surrounded by trees, but that made it so we did not get any wind through our camp and Travis could not keep the fire going without a little breeze. He blew on the fire forever until get just got hot enough coals to cook our food!
Lately we are into playing chess. Travis taught me (yes I am almost 24 and just learned how to play chess properly) and it turns out chess is quite fun. I will never have a chance at beating Travis but he always tells me I came close.Thursday, July 2, 2009
Red Rocks
A couple of nights ago the Mormon Tabernacle Choir came to perform at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. We had no intention of going because we could not afford tickets. Luckily we have some awesome friends who had 2 extra tickets and invited us to come with them.
Yes, the big pregnant girl had to have a chair! To get up to the theater there are TONS of stairs. I barely made the climb, but I was glad I did because the concert was amazing.
