Haircuts!!!

I know it has been FOREVER since we last blogged, but there is nothing interesting going on in our lives. I work all the time and Travis studies all the time, who cares about that? Today was probably the most exciting day we have had in a while. We both got our hairs cut? I got bangs for the first time since about 4th grade and I cut Travis' hair, as usual! But we look HOT!

Then we went to Wingers and ran into Chris and Cierra with Alyssa. Alyssa decided she wanted to come to our table because we are so much more fun than Mom and Dad! Below is Alyssa and Travis checking out the weird lookin' noodles on the Asian Salad.

Who wants to eat the french fry when you can just suck off the ketchup and re-dip the fry?

Then we went back to Chris and Cierra's house and watched a movie (The Eye) outside in their yard. Alyssa was fun to cuddle with.

Easter

This year for Easter we hung out with the Hopkins side of the family! We dyed easter eggs, while Alyssa dyed her hands!! Alyssa just dipped her fingers in the dye, while Haley gently stirred her egg with the wire spoon! It is nice to have two girls that are so very different!

The girls went on an egg hunt and they got so excited whenever they found an egg! I know there are a lot of pictures, but they were just all so cute!
I didn't even see the egg on the tire but I lucked out with taking a picture at just the right time!

When we got inside it only took Alyssa a few minutes to rip open an egg and start eating it, shell and all!! Cee cee is trying to get it out of her mouth!

Suns Games

For those of you who are not up on the Phoenix Suns news I will tell you that they traded Marion and Banks for Shaq. Sad to lose Marion, but they seem to think that Shaq can help out the team. So weird. The Suns are still doing awesome and we like to get together to watch the games.

We are the only ones in the group with cable, so everyone likes to come to our house to watch the Suns games. The girls really enjoy it as long as they have their cups and some popcorn!

The guys get hooked to the screen for the game, except Brendan who seems to be pretty attached to his phone. Like so many others, he has been hit with the texting virus.

Fun with Alyssa

Now that we are back in Rexburg we don't ever get to see our nieces in Colorado, but we have spent a lot of time hanging out with Alyssa. We have captured some great moments on camera!
She seems to really like that chili on rice!
Alyssa found Grandpa's razor and decided that she wanted to help him shave!

Some one is really pround of the mess she made for dinner!

It's been too long

It has been a really long time since we last blogged. A lot has happened. We started school, I got a job at Taco Bell and Travis got a second job with the Pepsi Cola Company. We found a car that we love. A Jeep Grand Cherokee! The pictures are below. We got it just in time for the most snow and coldest winter I have ever experienced here in Rexburg. The snow seems to never end, but just this week we saw the sun! Life is kinda crazy, but hopefully things die down a little after midterms next week!

Happy Anniversary!

You can listen to our stories and decide which anniversary was more fun! On December 29th 2007 we celebrated our 2nd anniversary. We had everything planned out. We were going to go to Salt Lake and see Temple Square and eat at a nice restaurant and we had a hotel already reserved for us, then we would head back to Rexburg in the morning.
What really happened was, we got stuck in Echo Canyon at a Weigh Station because our car wasn't working properly and we had to get towed to a small town called Coalville. The town has one restaurant, Dairy Queen, and it closed at 8pm just before we got there. We ended up eating frozen burritos from the gas station next door to the hotel. Then we got towed to Ogden in the morning where we spent 6 hours at Pep Boys while they tried to figure out what was wrong with our car. Once we finally got back to Rexburg our car broke down again and we have had to get rides from everyone this whole last week. We are out a couple thousand dollars and a car.
If any one knows a good deal on a nice car, let us know!!

Now you can compare that year to our first year anniversary. We stayed in a really nice hotel in the beautiful mountains of Montana and we went skiing for the whole day and had a blast. The weather was great and I learned to ski for the first time and found that I really enjoy it. We haven't gone skiing since then, due to the cost, but we are planning to go again soon!

It really didn't matter what we did, we enjoyed spending time together and we have had a WONDERFUL two years!!!!

Although, next year, breaking down is not in the plans!
