Welcome to Our Home!!!

Our little family in front of our beautiful house. Now I will show you some pics of my favorite rooms in the house.
In the basement we have an awesome movie room packed with candy and a popcorn maker.
On the back patio we have this nice fire pit to sit around and chat even when it is cold.
Me just chillin' and reading a magazine in my spacious great room. There is also a great view from this room.

Travis eating some freshly made cookies in the kitchen. Sorry you can't see more of the kitchen.

Relaxing on our bed!
Well, that is our house!!! Feel free to come visit us any time, we have a pretty sweet guest suite in the basement.
Well, it is just our dream house that we will probably never get, but we go to visit it a few times a year just to dream about what it would be like.

Baby Blessing

On November 8th we blessed Mackenzie Renea. She looked so beautiful in her little dress that Leah was kind enough to let us borrow. We had so much family come up for the weekend. We really appreciated the sacrifice people made to come!
She almost looks a little drunk!
Our little family!
I just thought this was a pretty good picture of us.
My sister-in-law Carrie, me, Sarah and Anna

Me with my 3 sisters. And who says we look alike?!!
Carrie's fiance Nick (who we are excited to be part of the fam), Travis and his Dad.

Little Pumpkin

Because it was both Halloween and Mackenzie's one month birthday we had a little photo shoot. It was also partly because we were given a couple Halloween outfits and we had to have her wear all of them!
It turns out to be pretty hard to get a baby to pose!

She is with the little stuffed witch that talks and laughs and it scared her a bit! I thought it was a little funny! (I know, bad mom!)

My mom goes by Mimi with all the grand kids so there is less confusion having 2 grandmas. So this is Mack and Mimi.

This is just my sweet little pumpkin!!!

I needed some pictures of me with my sweet little girl. I have not been allowing many pictures to be taken of me yet.

Thank you Oprah!!

So, I have not owned snow boots since I was probably 10 years old and really wanted some of my own this year. Thanks to Oprah and doing her one day of everything at Payless Shoes 50% off I was able to get some good snow boots for an awesome price! I also got a fun snow hat, sunglasses and a belt. Everything 50% off. That pretty much made my day yesterday!!!

Snow, snow...snow

This last week it started snowing and kept snowing for over 2 days straight. We got about 25 inches. School was cancelled for 3 days (that would have never happened when I was in school). The first day I did not get out and exercise and was going crazy, so the 2nd day Travis, my Mom and I decided to shovel.
Travis got his work out pushing and pulling this snow machine. It is really heavy.

This is my Mom shovelling!

I only did about 1/4 of the driveway and had Travis come snow blow because the snow was heavy and I was already tired!! It turns out that shovelling snow is a really good work out!!!

Since when do we get this much snow in October? The best thing is that it will be back in the 50s and sunny all next week!!

It's a good day!

Today my little girl is 1 month old, it is also her Grandpa's birthday (happy birthday Carl!) and it stopped snowing. (I will have to tell you about the snow later) Also Mack decided she LOVES the bath, which makes me happy because it really calms her down to just sit and relax in her little tub. She has already started to try and drink the water! Her head tipped to the side a bit and she got a taste of the water so she kept trying to tip over and lick the water!! She is really starting to get a little personality.

The update

We seem to be doing much better lately. My hormones are slowly regulating and I am starting to accept the fact that Mack will not breastfeed. I hate pumping but I will keep going as long as I have some milk--which probably won't be much longer. She is starting to wake up more and we love to see her eyes. She is just such a good baby. So quiet and easy. I know that I am blessed. I still don't get much sleep because when I do get a few hours to sleep I can't sleep even though I am exhausted. I will have to learn that trick. Mack got her sleeping habits from Travis! We set her on a cold counter and she just stays asleep, it is amazing. Just like the other day we had the window open and it was literally raining on Travis and he slept right through it! I am totally jealous of that talent.
Any way, we are trying to decide when to start going to church and taking her out more. With the swine flu all over the place we are just not sure. She has gone to the store and that is about it. Well, I don't want to bore you with writing so here are some cute pics.
So far Mackenzie has not repeated a single outfit there are just so many cute ones to choose from!
She had her first real bath and hated it, but loved being rapped up in the towel afterward.

I just think these shoes are adorable so I took a pic of her feet. I love baby shoes!!
