Thanksgiving

We are a little late with our posts because our camera broke, but we got a new one and I am catching up. We had a great Thanksgiving. The whole family came and we enjoyed eating lots of food and playing our usual card games we always play!

Next to Sarah is her fiance Daniel. I haven't blogged about it because I don't have the pictures of them. Any way, Sarah and Daniel get married in April (I don't know how they can wait so long) but they seem very happy and are excited about getting married.

We always get together and play games. Brianna is content just watching a movie, but Audrey likes to be as involved as possible! It is pretty entertaining to watch Brianna and Audrey always fighting over Mimi's (Grandma's) lap!

We Have Fun Sometimes!!

My Dad had free tickets to see the new 007 movie and he could not go so he let us have them and invite some friends. We got free tickets, free popcorn and then gave in and bought the $5 drink. But we got our money's worth from that drink! The movie was so good, it was non stop action, I definately recommend it.
On Saturday we went to the Airforce vs BYU game. We went with Leah and James and Anna and her friend Rachel. It was so fun to be there at the game. I had never been to a real football game, as high school games don't count. It was a tough game, but BYU won in the end.
At the beginning of Airforce games the jets fly over the stadium, this was the best picture I could get because they are so fast.

You can't tell, but Leah and I were so cold!

The best part is the kids' face behind us! Take a look!

Our Own Place

Cierra said that she wanted to see some pictures of our new place so here they are. About 2 weeks ago we moved out of my parents house and into our own apartment. We are in a tiny little place full of other peoples' furniture, but we have our own space!

Patio table from someone!

Behind the door is laundry! My first time ever not having to haul my laundry through the snow to the laundr-o-mat!

The chairs are given tp us from two different people, but it is fun to each have our "own" chair.

I love my job!!!

I love my job!
I am an infant teacher at a daycare here in denver. I will not say which daycare or the babies' names, as to protect the identity of these adorable children, but I will tell you a little bit about them.
Starting with the youngest, the little guy above is a chunker and so much fun. He will squeel and giggle and never wants to be put down, sometimes it gets hard lugging around this 20 pounder!
This little girl is 7 months old and is so ticklish and always happy and giggling. She is so easy going and tons of fun to play with!

This boy is 8 months and can almost crawl. He bounces all the time even when he is not in the bouncy swing he will be kicking his feet and want me to hold him up so he can bounce his legs!

This little fire cracker is 9 months old and can crawl and pull herself up anywhere. She is so curious about everything and very busy. When you get her laughing it is so much fun!

It was very difficult to get a picture of all four looking at the camera so this is what I got!
Who wouldn't want my job!!

Changing of the Leaves

This time of year the mountains are so beautiful because the leaves are all changing colors. We have gone hiking with Leah and James and their girls a couple times and we have gotten some great pictures that we would like to share!

Check out the leaves behind us.
Brianna is stylin' when she goes hiking!
Audrey just likes to throw rocks into the water.
Brianna and Travis were a crack up because they were in the back talking the whole time and they would "roar" back at the thunder!
I was pretty proud of this picture I got of the creek and the one below with the lone tree and the mountains.

Travis took these awesome shots with the trees and mountains and the light reflecting down on them. It is such a beautiful place and we so glad to be here this time of year.
We wish everyone could move to Colorado close to us.

My little Sis

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time. Our lives are pretty boring so I tend to live through other people. Right now Anna has got a pretty interesting life so I am going to let you all know what she is up to because my life would bore all of you!
First was Anna's homecoming. She was nominated for homecoming court, again for the 4th year in a row. Don't ask me how she got so popular because I sure wasn't! It was fun to see that my high school football team is now good. During half time we found out that Anna did not win queen, but that is okay because she is holding out for prom queen! In the picture above she is actually next to her date for the dance, Stevie, who you can see in the pictures below.

Anna looked gorgeous as usual and is wearing the dress that I fixed up to wear on the cruise! Free dresses are the best.
Below is Anna with her good friends. She is so modest and I have to say that she looked about a THOUSAND times better. I cannot believe what the girls are wearing these days. I was worried that they might accidentally bend over and expose themselves!! Needless to say, Anna had a great time and ended up coming back to watch a movie after the dance with 7 boys and no girls! I guess modesty pays off!!The other big thing Anna is really into is Rugby. It is the most confussing sport ever invented but really fun to watch. Anna's team is 3rd in the state, but it comes with a price. She had a goose egg on her head, a swollen knee and is covered in bruises from head to toe. Below are some pictures of her playing the number 1 team in the state. She is number 4. Just take a look, this is one sport you will never catch me playing!
Getting pumped up before the game.
Here is Mac, their best player just before Anna, taking some girl out!!
Anna was always there going for the ball and involved in all the plays. One time she came up behind the group, what they call a ruck, and managed to push the entire group of about 10-12 girls back a couple feet!

This is a scrum where they just push each other until they get the ball out the back of their side and then the playing/death match begins!!

I don't know if I am envious of her or just plain scared for her life!
